When starting the colon cleansing pills, the most effective method, you will want to stock up with natural and healthy food. If you consume processed foods then your cleanse will not be as effective because not only will it be trying to remove waste build up but also trying to keep up with removing the build up of the processed food you just consumed. To get the best success you will want to make sure you are careful about consuming the right foods.

So here is an out line of FOOD TO EAT:

Firstly make sure you drink lots and lots of water, minimum of 2 liters a day. This is the main aid in a successful cleanse.

Vegetables: All vegetables are good for your colon detox, especially the fresh ones. All green leafy vegetables, broccoli, onions, bell peppers, green beans, carrots, cauliflower, beets, just to name a few.

Fruits: All fruits are good on a cleanse. Strawberries, oranges, apples, blueberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, and the list goes on.

Grains: When consuming grains on a cleanse you want to make sure you only choose non gluten grains, brown rice is recommended but nothing white as these have been stripped of their natural nutrients. The most preferred types of grain on a cleanse include millet, buckwheat, and quinoa.

Nuts: Flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and cashews are among the most preferred for a cleanse as long as they are unsalted and raw nuts are recommended. Nut butters are another good choice just make sure you are only getting all natural especially when it comes to peanut butter.

Legumes: Beans are okay to eat on a cleanse. The lentils and green peas digest the quickest, but garbanzo, pinto, kidney beans are other good choices.

When cooking it is recommended to use olive oil over other cooking oils. Now there may be things not on here that you have questions about so I will try to cover those.

Here is the outline for FOOD NOT TO EAT:

Dairy: This includes cheeses, milk, sour cream and butter.

Wheat: Wheat is not ideal on a cleanse as it takes a long time to digest and usually contributes to build up in your intestinal tracks. Pasta and bread should be avoided.

Sugar: Probably the hardest on to avoid. Sugars include soda, fruit drinks, candy, pastries, the list could go on. Just make sure to look at the ingredients because many times you will find sugar is included. This includes all forms of sugar including dextrose, sucrose, and high fructose corn syrup.

Now you should be on your way to feeling better than you ever have before. If you have any questions about things you can and cannot eat, just look at the ingredients and if they are scientific names for something not grown in a garden most likely it overly processed and should be avoided.
